New Features: - First version where Business central 2.0 is supported.
- Switch between Stand alone and Business Central 2.0 (BC) mode in AP.
- Use AP local GUI BC tab "enable/disable" option to switch from standalone to BC and vice versa.
- When cloud managed, AP will home in on https://bc.netgear.com.
- NETGEAR's Business Central portal (https://bc.netgear.com/) supports configuration, management and monitoring.
- Business Central 2.0 provides "Bandwidth limitation" per wireless network.
- Features and bug fixes are on par with 3.0.5.0 release.
Bug Fixes: - Security Vulnerabilities fix for standalone mode.
- Fix for DHCP server running on Master AP is not working when Multipoint Bridge is configured.
- Fix for Wireless Distribution System (WDS) breaks if the WPA supplicant killed in P2P slave.
- Fixed the Restore settings option is not working in local UI.
- Fixed AP hanging issue upon continuous refreshing of the UI login page.
- Fix for Bogus neighbor APs listed in Business Central account.
- Fix for Rogue AP logs not reflected in syslog.
Known issues: - A wireless network has a configuration of Captive portal / hotspot with non-management VLAN is not working.
- Rogue AP table may not list all neighbor APs.
- There are known client disconnect issue with MacBook Pro running OS x v10.8.5(Mountain Lion), please upgrade to latest OS x
To Install: - Download the new software and save it to a convenient folder location.
- Login to the access point web management GUI.
- Take backup of the current configuration and save it at a secure place.
- Select Maintenance > Upgrade > Firmware Upgrade.
- Click Browse and browse to the location of the software upgrade file that you just downloaded.
- Click Apply. The upgrade process typically takes at least 8 minutes.
- Warning: When uploading software to the WNAP210 Wireless Access Point, it is important not to interrupt the Web browser by closing the window, clicking a link, or loading a new page. If the browser is interrupted, the upload might fail, corrupt the software, and render the WNAP210 access point completely inoperable.
- When the upload is completed, your wireless access point automatically restarts.
- If you decide to use the AP as standalone, log into the AP and disable Cloud management.
- If you decide to use the AP in cloud management, factory reset the AP and add the AP to BCWM portal.
